It’s burger season and I can’t wait to try these unusual ones. Oh, and those fries, too.

As a Father’s day gift, my husband is joining me on my road to wellness and I offered him this to help. And about a week ago, we finally gave in and invested in this beauty. I promise it makes a difference.

And what if my dreams scare the shit out of me ? yes. I don’t want to stay stuck in WhatIfLandia.

I’m so not ashame to say out loud that selfies, some days, are what keep me sane. And self-portraits. And this summer, why not focusing on some selfie love ?

I love cooking but don’t always want to spend time hours in the kitchen, so I loved this list of healthy kitchen shortcuts.

I have a fascination for names and where they come from. So when I found out this encyclopedia about the names origins of everything and anything in the Harry Potter universe, I could not stop fangirling.

I decided to stop eating meat as much as possible, so when I came accross this baked salmon taquito recipe, I just squeeled with delight.

New art supplies to play with ? hell yes ! Especially when it is from my favorite brand creating spray inks.

It is so damn hard to find a good almond milk that does not contain the crap usually added to it… so I decided to give it a try and make my own vanilla almond milk.

She is my new creative crush. And fills my obsession with anything that has a deer on it…

I know I am now a grown-up (or at least I should be) but I love me some Young Adult books. I just finished reading this trilogy and I am so happy I was able to stay spoiler free: the ending was WOW ! I am anxious to see the movie for the first book, though…

Today I am on day #7 of a flare-up. I am careful about what I eat and drink, I spray everyday twice with a mix of essential oils but still. Samie Harding shared this visual on her tumblr that gives a very good idea of what it is to live with fibromyalgia daily.

I am a visual learner and this is partly why I love YouTube in general. I just came accross this channel who has plenty of videos about book binding. I will soon try Coptic Binding thanks to her tutorial.

Athena and Pixie are doing it again ! Can’t wait to create my own Water Wheel.

I don’t believe in coincidences. like at all. I have had this book since last year and recently, Sacred Contracts have been mentioned around me almost everyday. I guess it’s time for me to finally dive in.

I am downloading the new Etsy app, especially made for us sellers, on my iPad as I type those words.

I have, with hundreds or more other people, been waiting for about a year to see it back on the shelves at Trader Joe’s. The Soy-chorizo is back baby ! My favorite way to eat it is slightly cooked and in a salad with steamed lentils and lots of veggies, and a tad bit of vegenaise+Dijon mustard. Yum !

One thing that makes me really happy is sharing the love about what makes me happy. So I am planning on making this a regular series on the blog…

Sometimes, I need to get out of my comfort zone. This new class will make your imagination run wild ! Each of Micki’s previous class brought a new positive twist in my creativity.

Speaking of twist in my creativity, I am forever grateful for the goodness that happens in these classes. The people gathering with open minds to learn new ways of making art and expanding our toolbox. I am simply amazed at what is shared already, and the class only began two weeks ago. I see a new series in the work…

I am no vegan (I gave up meat at the beginning of the year though) but the food I eat is something I watch very closely and a vegan diet holds a lot of goodness. And because I am easily bored, even in my kitchen, I love trying different things I am obsessed by this blog (and her recently released cookbook). 
For Koala’s birthday, I made a vegan vanilla cake that blew our mind. Easy peasy, no weird ingredients and so delicious tasting. I used a recipe from this book. (I discovered her when she won, with her vegan cupcakes, the tv show Cupcake Wars»)

How do you process your feelings ? I write (when I let my Censor out the door of my mind) and I mostly use my Art Journal… You can watch me create, from start to finish, a simple art journal spread on a really hard day emotionally.

At the beginning of the year, I made a promise to myself: Let the Magic back in. Accept who you are. Own it. And Athena’s magical shop has been a huge help in that new step.

Art takes many forms. It’s no secret I am obsessional. And I love tattoos. I have my consultation appointment late june to plan my next tattoo and as impatient as I am, I am glad I did not fall into booking another artist just to get it done faster. Everything comes when it is the perfect timing. I just had an instant artist crush on her line work and color and everything. She is amazing.
