Il y a quelques mois, j’ai cr\u00e9\u00e9 cette peinture:\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

C’\u00e9tait alors ma fa\u00e7on \u00e0 moi de m’affirmer \u00abJe reconnais enfin qu’\u00eatre diff\u00e9rente est une bonne chose tant que je l’accepte pleinement<\/em><\/span>\u00bb. Je me sentais tellement en dehors de tout. Comme si je n’appartenais nulle part, \u00e0 rien. J’\u00e9tais seule et le vivais plus que mal.
\nPourquoi n’avais-je pas les m\u00eames centres d’int\u00e9r\u00eat que mes camarades au lyc\u00e9e ? Pourquoi ne se pr\u00e9occupaient-ils pas des m\u00eames choses que moi ? Pourquoi personne ne voyait donc cette immense souffrance dans laquelle je baignais ?<\/p>\n

Cela m’a demand\u00e9 des ann\u00e9es avant de me sentir bien. Pas particuli\u00e8rement dans mon corps, non, mais pour finalement faire la paix avec mon \u00c2me. Acceptation<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

Il y a quelques nuit, j’ai fait un r\u00eave duquel je me suis r\u00e9veill\u00e9e avec la certitude de devoir le noter imm\u00e9diatement dans mon Journal (toujours avoir un carnet et un crayon sur la table de chevet… une de mes r\u00e8gles numero 1) afin de ne rien oublier. En voici un bout:<\/p>\n

Cela implique un groupe d’\u00e9tudiants en art dont je fais partie, un grand jardin publique o\u00f9 se trouvent des arbres gigantesques, un professeur (<\/em>note: personne r\u00e9elle, artiste vivant \u00e0 Portlant et dons les bras sont remplis de tatouages… vous voyez qui c’est ?) ainsi qu’une comp\u00e9tition entre plusieurs groupes. \u00c0 un moment donn\u00e9, mes camarades sont tout excit\u00e9s par le fait que Michael Jordan nous donne un bout de son maillot officiel \u00e0 int\u00e9grer dans notre collage… je ne comprends pas la raison de cette exaltation. Je m’isole et commence \u00e0 pleurer. C’est alors que notre professeur vient vers moi, me fait signe de m’assoir sur l’herbe et me demande pourquoi je pleure; je r\u00e9ponds que je ne comprends pas pourquoi je ne ressens pas la m\u00eame chose que les autres, que je veux simplement continuer notre projet et voir \u00e0 quoi cela va aboutir, pourquoi suis-je encore \u00e0 part de la masse. Voici alors ce qu’il me r\u00e9pondit:\u00ab <\/em>Tu es passionn\u00e9e depuis longtemps, tu as la cr\u00e9ation qui coule en toi. Accepte le fait d’\u00eatre diff\u00e9rente, d’avoir ton propre style, ta propre voix. C’est ce qui fait que tu es unique, c’est ta force. Alors oui, cela implique de la solitude, souvent, et aussi aller \u00e0 contre-courant parfois, mais \u00e9coute cette petite voix en toi, amuse-toi, exp\u00e9rimente, et tu verras bien ce qui en d\u00e9coulera ! Cependant, ne te perds pas en route parce que tu as voulu faire comme la majorit\u00e9: ce serait du pur g\u00e2chis.\u00bb.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ne rigolez pas \u00e0 ce r\u00eave… la forme est un peu bizarre, certes (je veux dire… que vient faire Michael Jordan et son maillot orange fluo ??). Le message est tr\u00e8s important pour moi.<\/p>\n

J’ai longtemps eu peur de dire tout haut \u00abJe n’aime pas les cr\u00e9ations vintage\u00bb \u00abLa mode des objets Steampunk ne me parle pas tant que \u00e7a\u00bb \u00abMais c’est qu’est-ce qui est merveilleux dans les encres Distress ?!\u00bb. Aller contre le courant et ce qui est IN peut \u00eatre terrifiant, \u00e7a l’\u00e9tait pour moi du moins. Surtout lorsque je d\u00e9butais dans l’univers artistique et que je t\u00e2tonnais \u00e0 trouver ma place.
\nMes premiers pas ont \u00e9t\u00e9 faits dans le monde excentrique de Suzi Blu et sa classe Les Petites Dolls (la premi\u00e8re qu’elle enseignait… pour dire que c’est loin maintenant). Mes premi\u00e8res Trollettes ressemblaient aux siennes, en moins bien, je copiais pour apprendre, pour comprendre. Puis je m’en suis \u00e9loign\u00e9e de plus en plus en trouvant ma voix, mon style. Cela m’a demand\u00e9 deux ans de travail quasi quotidien, d’exp\u00e9rimentations, d’\u00e9checs parfois cuisants. Mais aujourd’hui, je vois toujours autant de Petite Dolls dans le milieu artistique, les m\u00eames que Suzi Blu, comme s’il \u00e9tait plus facile de continuer de copier (sans doute sans que cela ne soit m\u00eame conscient) plut\u00f4t que de chercher \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir son propre style; cela me met en quelques sortes mal \u00e0 l’aise sans trop savoir exactement pourquoi. Attention, je ne les bl\u00e2me pas ni rien, j’essaie de comprendre.
\nCelat m’a donc pris environ deux ann\u00e9es enti\u00e8res pour d\u00e9finir ce que j’adore, ce que je n’aime pas, explorer les outils qui me conviennent le mieux… deux ans \u00e0 y bosser tous les jours un peu ou presque; cela ne se fait pas en un jour (ou alors si c’est le cas pour vous, vous \u00eates super chanceux). Et je suis toujours en train d’exp\u00e9rimenter, parce que je suis comme \u00e7a.<\/p>\n

Accepter la Zarbi en moi, et accepter que cela se refl\u00e8te obligatoirement d’une fa\u00e7on ou d’une autre dans ce que je cr\u00e9\u00e9, est un \u00e9norme acte de foi.<\/p>\n
