Is there something in your life you refuse yourself to do, or to be ? I’m absolutely sure that the answer is yes.
We all restrain ourselves for something, material or spiritual. Because of social things we were taught (“if you want to be this, you have to do that” “a woman does not ______”), because of what our family taught us, because of what was our education…
And what if we let all that “shoulds” and “woulds” and “have tos” go ???
This is what this week Wishcasting Wednesday’s prompt is about.
I wish to give myself permission to be myself in any circumstances.
Be myself when I am happy and euphoric.
Be myself when I’m anxious.
Be myself when I want to do a crazy dance in the middle of the living room.
Be myself when the tears roll out off of my eyes just because.
Simple accepting and no hide and sick anymore, no more masks.
I have to give myself permission to not be ashamed of who I am, every day that life makes and allows me to live.

⚙ The events happening at Granville Island during the Olympics, we saw such great performances and met fun people too ! (I’ll probably talk about it later)
⚙ We saw the Olympic Torch near our home (like 100m away). We didn’t know if we would attend and it was not planned as I was suffering from a terrible headache since 4pm that had me in tears for almost two hours; so I was in bed trying to get rid of it when we heard the helicopters and the crowd startint to cheed outside. At the last moment, we decided to jump out of bed, dress up really quickly and see if it was not too late. We arrive just on time, the torch passed a few minutes after our arrival. It was very emotional, I’m surprised. I’ll try to upload the video Cheridoo made. The city is dressed with Canada flags everywhere (on the buildings, on the houses windows, on the cars, on the buses, on tv… everywhere proud is shown), Smurfs are everywhere (aka people requisitionned for various things during the games, they’re wearing Smurf-Blue clothes).
