I can’t believe it’s already another friday ! This week flew by soooo fast. And what an excellent week, Lovelies 🙂
The Olympic spirit is really there in Vancouver now, we can’t go through it. Did you see the opening ceremony ? My husband and I were so glad that the Native were highlighthed and that THEY welcomed the World on their land.
I feel so energetize by the sunny weather… reboosted ! It’s almost spring, flowers are already blooming, can you belive it ?
This week, I feel grateful for:
⚙ The sun shining outside and inside my heart. Love when the sky is deep blue.
⚙ The catch-up afternoon with Nathalie, and the sushi lunch we had together the day after (don’t forget the walk we did after the meal, to help us digest all the good.
⚙ The video conference with Isa, not long but really fun !
⚙ My daughters, that give me so much love everyday, sometimes I feel like I don’t really deserve it.
⚙ The events happening at Granville Island during the Olympics, we saw such great performances and met fun people too ! (I’ll probably talk about it later)
⚙ My husband, who I love deeply and unconditionally… I’m so blessed to be his wife.
⚙ My mum, who is always supporting and enthousiastic about us, about our choices. It’s so important to have at least someone who trust us.
⚙ The house hunting, even if it’s not “concrete” because we don’t know our budget yet -but we have an appointment at the bank today, we’ll see-. It’s sometimes depressing to see all these potential homes without having the possibility to make offers and think “it could be ours”, but despite this fact, it allows us to dream and to know more precisely what we want it to be.
This week was so wonderful…

⚙ We saw the Olympic Torch near our home (like 100m away). We didn’t know if we would attend and it was not planned as I was suffering from a terrible headache since 4pm that had me in tears for almost two hours; so I was in bed trying to get rid of it when we heard the helicopters and the crowd startint to cheed outside. At the last moment, we decided to jump out of bed, dress up really quickly and see if it was not too late. We arrive just on time, the torch passed a few minutes after our arrival. It was very emotional, I’m surprised. I’ll try to upload the video Cheridoo made. The city is dressed with Canada flags everywhere (on the buildings, on the houses windows, on the cars, on the buses, on tv… everywhere proud is shown), Smurfs are everywhere (aka people requisitionned for various things during the games, they’re wearing Smurf-Blue clothes).
