Good morning !

For this new video project, I decided to paint what I needed: a reminder of sorts. You know by now that I love adding symbols to my art. For you who look at it, as well as for me.

Stencils can truly be very versatile ! I love stamping with mine, for example. And you can be bold or subtle with them. That’s what I wanted to share with you in one project.

I am so happy about how this project turned out. I tend to buy things on a whim (working on that bad habit) and this is how I ended with this papier mâché box unused for years… Yes: years !

I integrate personal symbols in all of my art. But most of the time, I hide them in plain sight because they have meaning for me (and the meaning can be different for the person looking at it). I don’t like explaining what I do, to be quite honest with you… But for this specific project, I jumped and decided not to hide my symbols but to make them the focal point. Sarah’s stencils are simply amazing. The right amount of quirk with a top notch quality. I also used ColourArte products because they are my favorite.

You know I love sharing art supplies I use and might remember I used to make project videos for ColourArte, a company I have known (and used) since around 2009.

I am now part of their Design Team again, and will be making projects using their amazing products (that I never stopped using in my art, I will just have videos focused on them several time a month).

I will be sharing tricks and tips about how to use their nice range of pigments and paints to incorporate into your paintings, especially my new obsession: abstract art (and pouring paintings).

It is really excited to be back and to officially be sharing my love for this brand again <3

Yes yes yes ! I am so over the moon to announce that I was accepted to be part of the Video Design Team (DT) for a brand I have fell in love in 2009 and kept using ever since. It is a great opportunity for me and for you guys as you know my love for supplies and how I love pushing my edges.

I am surrounded by amazing artists who work in all kind of media and are from all over the World, this truly is a blessing.

Starting in September, I will create two video projects per month for them and will share how amazing and versatile their products are.
