As I was saying last year, I don’t really like taking resolutions anymore. But I do like have goals to meet when the new year begins.

This is all over the cyberweb, this trand of finding/chosing a word to define your year to come. I see mine as a personal mantra, a line of conduct, sometimes I can turn to when I feel lost and don’t really know in which direction to go.

This year, my mantra is a verb. I feel it like someone whispering or yelling it (kinda) at me when needed.

Expand my horizons. Expand my practice, spiritual and artistic. Expand Inner Worlds even further… and I don’t know what yet.

I have this gut feeling that 2012 holds a lot of deep changes. Positive ones. With some waves because without them, the ride would not be as fun, right ? A turning point. Something that will shift the rest of my life, and of my family’s.

I am currently working hard on a secret project. Something I’ve never done before. It has been whispered to me before, suggested by friends and strangers, and was downwright told it very insistently by Angels while my Angel Attunement. It’s clear: I can’t deny anymore that this is something I have to do and stop being afraid of the what if-s….. Too many coincidences pushing me this way.
This is the first step in following my mantra…

I currently try not to push too much when I paint and a new Nixie emerges.
Usually, I start with the background and then I see a face. While I paint her, she speaks to me. Don’t think I’m crazy (or maybe I am and just don’t really care) but my Nixies tell me their name and their story so I can then share them with the world.

I thought something was off with the Nixie above.
I was SO frustrated because I could not point out what was wrong with her. I changed the background, tried to listen closer. Tried to see if it was something with the Nixie («Is she too weird ?»). None of this was shifting my feeling about the painting.
Then, i realized that i did not have her name nor her story. Nothing. Nada. Niente.
The silence I was facing was killing me. It never happened before. I faced the «I don’t know what color to chose. I don’t know what her hair should look like.» etc. but never a one-way relationship with my painting.

So what do I do now ? Fight ? No… this is not the best option, in my opinion.
So I think that maybe just go with her flow ? I know this is happening for a (good) reason. Is she a reflection of my own moments of silence ? And I love that while writing all this her name just popped in my mind… Muette (which could be translated with tongue-tied or mute or even silenced).

And maybe that her story simply has to remain her secret for now..?

Hello !

It’s now 10h37, I’ve already written my Gratitude Friday blogpost for the french-speaking version of Inner Voices, I don’t know why it is so hard to translate it (not technically difficult, but… I am doing other stuff, pushing doing this aside). Sometimes, I am just weird I guess. Too many things going on in my head maybe.

This week, I am thankful for:

• Our visit at the aquarium On December 31st, despite the encounter with an hungry squirrel, it was very nice.
• We had a very nice New Year’s Eve. Simple, but perfect «The best New Year’s Eve of my life» depending on the girls.
• I had the very good surprise of this blogpost this blogpost and gift from Joyce, the winner of «Name My Girls» contest and spiritual mom of my Nixies.
• My tv shows are airing again. Yaaaay (not all, but it will be, soon).
• I am back to painting. One step at a time. Pushing away resistance and fear.
• The girls are back to school.
• Chéridoo was in vacations. It feels so good when he is home.
• 21 Secrets is now open for registration.
• The comment from my friend Aurore in a previous blogpost.
• The come back of a lost friend in my life.
• The discussion with my brother (honestly this still feels weird. But OMG I have brothers and a sister !!!! They are now real and know I am here, I exist).
• The Angel Attunement I received from Marsha Bennie. She is amazing, this is a wonderful experience. I am still buzzing from it. (if you want an Angel Reading with Marsha, contact me so I give you her contact info. She is amaziiiiing).
• I am finally reading The Hunger Games. Ooooh so good.

How is 2012 going for you so far ? 2012… it still sounds weird for me, honestly.

Today, I just wanted to share a bit of what I am currently loving, artistically speaking. Spreading the love.
To be transparent, some of the links are affiliates one (meaning if you go there and buy something, I earn some money to thank me for referring you), but not all of them.

I am loving seeing all the other teachers from 21 Secrets being as excited as I am about it. The registration is now open, and the playground will open its doors in April, so you have plenty of time to make up your mind. I know it can be intimidating and you may wonder “Will I be able to attend ALL the classes ?” “Will I enjoy each one of them ?” “Isn’t it overwhelming ??“; been there done that. You may not love passionately ALL the courses, it’s okay. At the beginning, Connie will send you a checklist with all the classes so you can keep track of what you have already done etc.

There will be live tchats with us, the teachers, that you can attend (or not, as you wish).
You’ll find there a community, all gathered to play and learn and heal. And don’t be afraid to ask questions, share what you’ve done etc. No judgement, nor “this is baaaaaaad”.

The workshops are so different from one to another, this is a just amazing !

I am a huge admirer of Julie Fei-Fan Balzer. She is a scrapbooker but she makes it fun and Mixed Media-ish. Which I love because it makes me feel like I could do it.
