Since a few month, I began again to read A LOT. I always loved reading, but I didn’t take time anymore. I don’t know what me realize that I missed it so much.
A few weeks ago, I read the first book of Maggie Stiefvater’s saga “The wolves of Mercy Fall”, SHIVER. I was drawn into it, and can’t wait to read it’s sequel. So I take my chance of winning an advanced reader copy of it 🙂
I love reading Maggie’s tweets and her blog, she has a sense of humour I really enjoy 😉
In Maggie Stiefvater’s Shiver, Grace and Sam found each other. Now, in Linger, they must fight to be together. For Grace, this means defying her parents and keeping a very dangerous secret about her own well-being. For Sam, this means grappling with his werewolf past . . . and figuring out a way to survive into the future. Add into the mix a new wolf named Cole, whose own past has the potential to destroy the whole pack. And Isabelle, who already lost her brother to the wolves . . . and is nonetheless drawn to Cole.
At turns harrowing and euphoric, Linger is a spellbinding love story that explores both sides of love — the light and the dark, the warm and the cold — in a way you will never forget.
Comes out in stores everywhere July 20th. Pre-order here.
Enter to win an advanced review copies of LINGER, Sisters Red, The Dead-Tossed Waves, and The Replacement on Maggie’s blog.

⚙ We saw the Olympic Torch near our home (like 100m away). We didn’t know if we would attend and it was not planned as I was suffering from a terrible headache since 4pm that had me in tears for almost two hours; so I was in bed trying to get rid of it when we heard the helicopters and the crowd startint to cheed outside. At the last moment, we decided to jump out of bed, dress up really quickly and see if it was not too late. We arrive just on time, the torch passed a few minutes after our arrival. It was very emotional, I’m surprised. I’ll try to upload the video Cheridoo made. The city is dressed with Canada flags everywhere (on the buildings, on the houses windows, on the cars, on the buses, on tv… everywhere proud is shown), Smurfs are everywhere (aka people requisitionned for various things during the games, they’re wearing Smurf-Blue clothes).
