I love Mermaids. And as I am not one who believes in coincidences, my daughter Koala talking a lot about Mermaids, I started to see them absolutely everywhere.

I wish I could make them as beautifully as my Sister Mindy, who creates some really gorgeous ones.

I think it is tricky to make a Mermaid painting because it can be weird to have a floating character on the painting, if you see what I mean…

I had a great amount of joy playing with my supplies. Papers, embossing powders, oil pastels (the ones I talked recently about in the products I currently love), doily, glitters, gel medium, alcohol inks and shimmery Lindy Stamp Gang products. If I’m happy with the products I am using, then I know I will stay in that happy state of mind when creating.

I believe in Atlantis. I’ve dreamt of it. Giant golden pyramids and Mermaids swimming around. Bells, Drums. Simple joy shared.

Meet Marina, she is one of these Atlantis’ mermaid.

I am so happy to announce that you can now choose to have your favorite artwork from me in different sizes.

The usual one: I go from 8×10 (as soon as my current stock is gone) to 8.5×11″. It will be what I call the regular print size.

The downsized one: I can print your choice of artwork on the same beautiful paper* but in a 4×6″ format. Easy to hang on your wall, it is also the standard photo size so it is easy to find a frame for it if you want. (Click the image above to see it in the shop).

The oversized one: I can print your choice of artwork on the same beautiful paper but in the bigger 11×14″ size. As well as the other two formats, it is easy to find beautiful frames to go with the print if you want. (Click the image above to see it in the shop).

* I print on satin paper, which is midway between glossy and matte. It is a heavy 80lb paper.

By default, I print with a white border around the image for easier framing. However, if you want it to cover all the sheet of paper, simply tell me so when purchasing.

Just tell me the name of the artwork you would like in the «Note to Seller» when being at checkout in Etsy. You can find the listing for either the 4×6 or the 11×14″ in my «Special size Prints» section in the shop.

I hope those of you who celebrated enjoyed your time and I wish you a merry Christmas.

As the end of the year approaches, and that I am improving the quality of my Art Prints, I need to make more room.

Until now, I was printing via an external source. Which was nice, until it went wrong (meaning very long printing delay, orders needed to be filled when it was not yet in my hands. For example). It was the starting point of looking for a professional home printer that would not be an investment I could not afford. And you know what I think: when something is meant to happen, everything falls perfectly into place. First, my husband agreed to look online what could fulfill my expectations and needs. Then, I searched online for the different providers, and of course one was having a sale on the Epson Workforce 7510 and delivering here… oh yes, that was it 🙂

It is an all-in-one large scale scanner and printer. I will be able to scan my 11×14″ canvas in one piece instead of puzzling them and stitching the image in Photoshop (which worked great and was better than not being able to do any print of larger artworks at all)…

It is a huge leap for me. As my neighbor told me, it is stepping into the Light, affirming «I AM an artist, a professional, I can not deny it any longer now.» as a personal statement. And it rang a deep bell in my core when she said that out loud to me.

Finding the right paper is still a quest BUT I have found a paper I really like: it is a 80lb (300g/m²) with a satin finish (so between glossy and matte). I chose a 8.5×11″ as the standard size for my prints (they currently are printed on 8×10″) and have the same paper in 4×6″ so you can choose a postcard size if you want.
I personally really like it (which is important when you are a seller).

I am doing it to clear my current stock so I can update my entire prints section with the new improved items 🙂

I found out that I have prints around that were never listed in my shop (can you believe that ?!). It is a good thing I decided to make the inventory of what I got and to cross this list with what was in Inner Worlds.
So I am listing them, they will be better in new homes 🙂

In other news, I am changing my prints. Until now and since I’ve started selling prints of my artworks, I was using a extern prints provider. My prints are real good archival photo like items. And I love them.
However, because of the end of the year madness, it takes more time to get my prints. I hate this kind of situation.

Soooo after talking with my husband (who is the bestest husband ever *well, he would be if he would do amazing birthday surprises but still*), we decided to finally get me a professional wide scanner+printer. I’ve been thinking about it for months, but decided against it until now.

He got me one, thanks to a good sale on the Best Buy website… and one week later, I received this beauty:

I have not bought the paper yet, but I am experimenting with regular paper first.

Soon, my prints will be made on beautiful lustre paper, with a white border for a better framing.

I will be having a print sale soon, in order to try to sell out my actual stock and redo them all with the new printer.

So excited !!!

Hello beautifuls !

I have finally figured out a place to do some pretty prints of my artworks to sell. I only have a few for now, but I’ll do more very soon.

You have two options: you buy only the print, so you can frame it as you want, or you buy a matted print.
I will put them in my Etsy shop that is currently totally empty (do you know if I can add the items and let them not viewable for a time ?).

If there is specific artwork(s) you would like a print of, don’t hesitate to ask me, okay ? it can be from art journal pages as well as mixed media artwork. I am looking for a way to create a gallery but did not find how yet. Working on it.

I am SO excited and yet so scared at the same time !
