Exploring Creative Praxis: my project of creating 365 Nixies in 2016

I will be honest with you: yes, I need to tell you more about my Soul Whisper/Guiding word/One little word for 2016, Praxis. It’s coming, I promise. I won’t tell any excuses for not having written and published that blogpost yet.

I needed to find some kind of daily creative practice. I know that sketching was not fulfilling enough but did not want something that would take too much time to complete everyday either… I am a Story teller, I love when the Nixie emerges from nothing. So I decided to be crazy and start a 365-day challenge around that.

As I shared not long ago, I almost quit making art last year. I really was close to end this chapter of my life for multiple reasons.

I picked a small size, 4×6″ (approx. 10x15cm), flat canvas board as my surface. Some may vary now and then, but I actually really like the no pressure of this photo size ☀️
They are all priced the same except one from February because I made a size mistake, I let them find their new home for $49USD each, plus the shipping and handling. They come with their story on the back, smudged and charged with Reiki. Each Nixie is very special, and I know they will fly to their new owners 🙂

I am slowly but steadily adding them in the shop, there are already more than 60 of them 😉
