If we are facebook friends, you already know that I am going back to school this year. I am attending a local Cégep, which is very unique to Québec. Short history lesson: they created this system in 1967 as a transition step between high school and either university or the workforce). To make it even shorter: it is a college.
I signed up for a program under the umbrella of Arts, Literature and Communication (=ALC), option media & cinema. I have an idea of the job I would like to devote myself to (video editing). And this seems like a nice entryway for it.
It is strange to finally be doing it, after thinking about it for at least the past five years. Because Cégep happens right after high school, most of my classmates are young adults: good thing I am still 18 in my heart 😂
“But what’s gonna happen to your Youtube channel?”
I want to share my experience. I am pretty sure I am not the only adult scared to death to do this jump in life, later than when people usually do it. It’s okay not to know. It’s okay to have a path that takes many turns before making a decision.
However, I still love sharing my creative process in most specific areas like mixed media and art journaling. These are what I am most known for currently.
So I guess it will be a mix of how-to videos and of vlogs in which I will share my student life.
As I say in my video: if you have any questions about this, leave me a comment so I know this is an interest.
