I use to focus on one painting at a time, and could not even consider creating several pieces at the same time. Now… it’s the contrary. Funny how our creative process evolves with time.
I love changing up the surfaces I am working on, it helps me to keep boredom out of my Studio door.
This month, there are so many things I want to do and achieve. I want to finally try getting my book on wheels and work on it, I don’t think I can do NaNoWriMo really but want to give it a try. But I want to create more, as well. I don’t know why EVERYONE chooses the month of November for daily challenges though.
I will try to create, even if it is just sketching, every single day of November. It means going out of my usual routine, and do something also on the weekend.
So… a lot of work ahead. But I will keep it fun. I will paint for my 2014 calendar (woohoo) for example. It’s soooo excited !
I grabbed three sheets of watercolor paper, and started to get my happy on: took some scrapbooking papers, scraps of tissue papers and more, and started glueing them down.
I love playing with our embossing powders at Lindy Stamp Gang, and recently bought the Emboss It dabber at my lcal scrapbook store so I can use more of them with stencils and finding ways to play with them. I could not let the stencil and Starburst Sprays away… as if I needed to tell you 😉
