I am wondering if I should straighten my current art relative projects. This is the issue, you see, when you are dying to try so many new different things, afraid you’ll forget, or that you won’t have time «after».
On this 16th day, I’m sharing with you the finished page I talked about on day #7 (click the link above if you want to see).
I lost my way. Getting on my own personal road again. This is what this new journal (playing in the Dylusion Journal, 9″x12″) feels like to me.
I listen to music. Everytime, all day long. Especially since I am home alone as both my kids go to school at the same time now (I can even have 30-second dance parties all by myself ;)).
It always has been a huge part of my daily life, for as long as I can remember (yes, I was the type of kiddo who needed noise to focus during homework time…).
And if some people simply don’t care what songs say, I do (care) about the lyrics. It is actually what get me started more seriously in learning English before Middle School (we start learning a second language from 6th grade to 12th grade, in France, often with a third language coming along in 8th grade). I wanted to understand what Mariah Carey’s songs were about ! (I smile because my playlist, currently filled with 568 very eclectic songs, decided to play «Angels cry» by… Mariah :D)
Lyrics and quotes, and surely words in general, are making me me. This is part of who I am. Songs build a whole universe inside my head when I listen to them. This is why I love Florence + The Machine so much, she directly speaks to my Soul and my head is overflowing with images.
This journal page is VERY simple. I did not even really worked on the face…
