This year, my month of April seems to focus on daily practice. I always start with the best intentions but run out of steam before the end. I don’t want this pattern to repeat itself, though.
I have two distinct projects this month that are really exciting!
Effy’s blog-along
Starting today, I will do my best to blog every day. I really wish to open a dialogue with you guys and that you’ll enjoy spending time here. Effy is hosting it and I am thankful for the push to at least try. This space means a lot to me, but Fear is often too loud.
I am learning that Love is Louder and that my voice matters.
Another thing I love about this blog-along is that I get to discover what other creative people have to say and give them some love as well.
The 100-Day Project
Starting tomorrow is the 100-day Project, organized by Elle Luna.
I picked doing an abstract painting on paper. No pressure, just joyful explorations of shapes and marks. It is about the intention that goes behind the scenes.

I am thankful that you shared with us who was running the 100 day project. I have done this a few times, not even knowing who was quote unquote in charge! Glad to have finally come across this post to find the answer!!! I will be seeing you in both the blog along and the 100 days!!!! We can cheer each other on as we go!
Your welcome. If you can find Elle’s book, I highly recommend it. I am really excited about both projects and I am doing my best to push the overwhelming feeling out of my way. Thanks Amy! I am more excited than nervous, so it should be good. And if only dozens out of a hundred are “good” paintings, I take it 😉 I have a big project in mind for them so we will see how it goes.

Yay for blogging along and Yay for 100 days project!!
I’m doing or trying to both as well. I’ve yet to complete a 100 days project. I still don’t know for sure my project. Maybe I’ll just let it be eclectic and let what ever creation comes to just happen.
You don’t have to have a very strictly formed project to begin with. I am pretty sure that after maybe two weeks, something will come up. I love the eclectic idea: just do something creative every day, whatever the activity is.
