Welcome on a new edition of my weekly ritual, Gratitude Friday (if you are not familiar with it, please go read how it came up and what it is about).
I got off the phone with Mom last Friday (I know. late again. I should think of renaming this series ;)) after crying and telling her I just don’t understand some of her choices, and just want to know the truth. It happens. Especially when you are someone overly sensitive. And she listened calmly and reassured me. Because she knows now how to deal with my tears. It used to be a big misunderstanding, her the strong independent woman and me the «too much» kid/teen/woman.
This week, I am thankful for:
- long morning walks with my Husband
- Mom is now done with her radiotherapy treatment
- fresh fruits bowls (current favorite: pineapple+Muscat grapes+raspberries+orange)
- watching religiously my hummingbird feeder to see them appear (blogpost to come)
- rest
- sunshine
- tears
- friends
- decluttering
- hopes and dreams
