Yesterday was a special day as it was the National holiday: Canada Day.
Everybody gets dressed in red and white, with temporary maple flag tattoos all over the body, just to show how proud they are to be there. And what I like the most is that nobody cares if you are born somewhere in Canada or if you made the choice to live there from anywhere in the world (and so you become an immigrant here), you just belong here.
So this week, I feel very thankful for being here and now, after about ten years thinking and planning it (yes, I was really young when I first was attracted by Canada).
Thank you for this perfect cohabitation between Nature and Modernism, as if for once, Human Beings let Nature be and made life around. We are surrounded by Nature all around, close to the Pacific Ocean, the mountains are seen as far as the eyes can see, the beach can be just a few steps away… It just takes my breath away every single day since we are here.
Thank you for all the warm people we meet, that engage talking with my girls or me, ask about us and are not shy aout sharing their own experience.
Thank you Universe for realizing my old dream, with my family.
