Pour cette fois, je ne m’axe pas sur quelqu’un ou quelque chose en particulier mais je vous montre un peu ce qui allume ma flamme créatrice ces derniers temps. Pas d’ordre précis 😉
I discovered her art thanks to the PapayaArt products (which she is the person behind with her mum).
She’s a mixed media artist (paint, collage…) and I find her artworks really inspired and inspiring.
I’d LOVE to take her mixed media mandala workshop, she used to teach it at the ArtFest. I know she’s taking a pause from giving workshops, but I still hope I’ll attend one of hers one day.
Here is her website and her blog.
Popy’s artwork are really colourful but also dark sometimes. It lights something in me, as if she was reading in my soul and putting my emotions on canvas/paper !
There is always something, wether in words or images, that will talk to your deep self.
Popy is a scrapbooker, she also makes collage, paint, drawing, sewing, crochet… She’s multi-talented !
Your really don’t want to miss her !
On her blog, she shares her last artworks as well with her favourite discoveries, her travels… and we don’t forget her crazy dog Oogie !
I think I discovered Samantha thanks to her YouTube Channel, when I was begin my Creative Journal and looking for videos about Art Journaling techniques and informations (YouTube is really a great place for discovering people).
Samantha is also a mixed-media artist, she keeps and create Art Journal. She brings together collage and paint as if both were always connected.
I attended every of her vlogs since the beginning and I’m kind of sad i won’t be able to do it anymore because I’m starting a new job. It’s every tuesday at 2pm pacific time (use a calculator to find when it is for you).
Her style is easily recognizable thanks to the colours she often uses and her “grungy” signature (she encourages me getting messy in my art, to really use my hands to apply paint as paintbrushes). I love love love her handwriting (and yes, I have the font she made with her handwriting).
The girls she draws remind me of Manga characters but are very feminine.
You can find her on her YouTube channel, her site, her twitter.
And you, where are you currently finding inspiration ?
