I never say it lightly. I never say it just so the person will just stop complaining (or whatever). It is an acknowledgement. Of trust. Of faith.
It’s okay to feel shattered and all stitched up.
It’s okay to cry for no reason.
It’s okay to notice how you catch your breath without knowing it.
It’s okay to go against what seems to be the flow.
It’s okay to constantly feel like a piece is missing when s/he is not around.
It’s okay to be happy even when the world seems dark.
It’s okay to now and then feel that ting of envy (use it as a propeller).
It’s okay to do it your own way. To leave the flock. To soar freely.
It’s okay to be just as you are.
