By the 4 winds is a project I do with other women in our Journals. One subject, several points of view. If you want to know more about it, go there.
This week’s theme is DOUBT(s) ! Wola it’s getting harder…
I really love making backgrounds with just a word or a short sentence that inspires me, motivates me. And that is what I had in mind this week for the challenge.
My page is… chaotic, upside down, I don’t know where to look at first when I see it, but after all: it’s what happens when my Soul is ful of doubts. When I don’t know what to do, what to trust, in what direction I should go.
I had shades of grey in mind but finally, it does not show on my page. It’s funny how what I have in mind at first when I pick up a them is not always what I do at the end.
I decided to totally let go and just create an “intuition painting”: I put some black acrylic paint across the page, not caring about it getting everywhere smoothly and then just built layer after layer after layer of acrylic paint. What does Doubt have to say to me ? Do. Not.Over.Think.
Except the text, everything is made with acrylic paint. The quote is written with white acrylic ink.
The quote says “Doubt is the Beginning, not the End, of Wisdom”
This week, a lot of my co-journalers friends are in vacation, but I’ll update the page as soon as they create their page. But you can see what was already done (click on the image to go on the respective blog):
