Welcome to this new Gratitude Friday! Feel free to share with me your (partial or full) gratitude moments in the comments; that way I can hold joy for you ✿ (you know that makes me happy to make you happy).
I know I have not been truly present online but I keep wondering “who cares anyway?” and therefore, why would I apologize for it? I feel it’s important to keep my Gratitude Friday going though because it helps me put my life and its events into perspective.
And while away from social media, I noticed something important: I have still a lot to share and write about here.
This week, I am thankful for:
- My Mom’s progress in her recovery (she had a bad fall in April and shattered her arm)
- Today is my best friend’s birthday and I wish I could jump in a plane to hug her and celebrate her being born in this lifetime
- The two concerts I attended with my daughters last week, Alessia Cara with Mae, and then P!nk with Kaly.
- Books (it’s a constant)
- Pondering our options
- Getting out of my introvert self and I’ll be a volunteer at an upcoming tattoo convention happening in June
- The blessing of taking care of my mental health for a bit, even though I think I should be more pro-active
- Releasing new videos, I love this project for Strumpet Stencils
Such a lovely list.
A tattoo convention! That sounds exciting.
Thanks Effy. I am as nervous as I am excited about volunteering this. I am virtually a people person but face to face scares me, and I have agoraphobic tendencies: going way out of what keeps me comfortable. Plus, I will know absolutely nobody. But eh, could be fun.
Lovely to read your list and watch the creation of Frankie (can’t find out now where I saw her name but I’m pretty sure this is her name?). I love her. I enjoy your gratitude Fridays, Nolwenn. Today I’m grateful for: flowers on a rainy day, a new plant arrangement hung on my front deck, mostly staying home all day, writing, pets and good nutritious meals. <3
It is her name 😉 I am happy you enjoyed watching the video.
Thank you for coming over and share your gratitude list with me: I deeply appreciate it. And what a lovely list you have.
I care <3
Love your list!! How was P!NK?????
Thank you for caring Lisa.
P!nk met my expectations and went beyond. I mean: she started her show singing while hanging from a fucking giant chandelier ?Her voice is on point, no matter what she’s doing on stage. It was a bit long for my daughter (because there was Julia Michaels who sang for about half an hour, then P!nk started about 15mn late…) but she enjoyed it as much as I did. I love going to concert with my daughters (still mourning the fact that I should have bought these Billie Eilish tickets when I had the chance).
I like your Gratitude Friday’s too.
I’m grateful I feel better. That I’m still blogging, that I got to face time with my son while he was hiking, that we have a/c on this hot day and much more <3
I am glad you are feeling better, Jean! How cool it is to Skype with your son while he is hiking, so nice. Yes to a/c 😀 Thank you for sharing
