Lyrics are a huge inspiration to me. I sometimes take bits and pieces of them as my starting point for a page (or even a full painting). Or it comes to me later in my creative process.
This page falls into the latter option.

My process for this page was quite simple: I let the emotions of the moment dictate what was going on on the page.
When I use stencils, I hate using the ink leftovers so I just smash them wherever in my journals. It’s a great idea to fight the fear of the blank page 😉
